About this experience

Join us for a warm and wonder-filled evening where we honor the ancient traditions of Yule through hands-on crafting and meaningful connection. In this special class, you’ll create your very own Yule Log using real birch wood, hand-drilled for candle placement, and adorned with natural elements like dried roots, evergreen sprigs, cranberries, nut shells, cinnamon sticks, and more.

As we craft, we’ll explore the history, folklore, and deep-rooted symbolism of the Yule Log—how it was used to welcome back the sun, protect the home, and mark the turning of the wheel. Each piece you add to your log will carry its own intention, transforming your creation into a sacred object for celebration, reflection, and light.

Take home not just a decoration, but a powerful keepsake infused with your own energy, ready to be lit on the longest night of the year.

All materials provided. No crafting experience necessary—just an open heart and a love for seasonal magic.

Lyndsey Turner I’m a lifelong maker creator rooted in the homestead prairie traditions I was raised with—where canning, quilting, and seasonal living were everyday treasures. Over the years, I’ve been honored to earn state-level awards for my canning and baking, which have deepened my appreciation for homespun craft. Travel has taken me around the world, exposing me to countless cultures and winter rituals, which has enriched the way I honor my own Swedish Yule heritage. Recently, I’ve leaned into those traditions even more—blending ancestral customs, handmade crafts, global inspiration, and a touch of magic. I’m grateful to share this cozy, meaningful season and the spirit of Yule with others.
